Safety Precautions

Beacon Baptist Church is actively attempting to follow state guidelines and take the appropriate precautions as we transition back into in-person worship services.  The following changes have taken place as of June 7, 2020.

  • Social distancing is encouraged
  • All adult Sunday School classes will be combined and will meet in the fellowship hall for additional space
  • All children/youth classes (except nursery) will meet in their usual classrooms
  • Children are welcome to attend the worship service and adult classes with parents
  • Nursery, children’s church, and small groups will resume at a later date
  • Hand sanitizer will be available; please use it when entering the buildings
  • Masks are encouraged, but not required
  • The church will maintain a small supply of masks for those who want one but do not already have one
  • Pews will be marked off to allow for social distancing
  • We will not serve food or coffee
  • Avoid using water fountains; bottled water will be provided instead
  • No items will be passed among attendees (offering plates, bulletins, etc.)
  • Offerings can be made in a box that will be placed in the foyer, online, or by mail
  • Janitorial service will resume and the church will be thoroughly cleaned every week
  • We will make every effort to clean commonly touched surfaces throughout service times
  • People who are sick with symptoms of COVID-19 or other respiratory illnesses should stay home

If you are unable to attend, we will continue to post Sunday worship services to our Facebook page, YouTube channel, and the Sermons page of our website.
